The Bank has grown immensely to command a five branch network and is looking to recruit one
robust, creative and technologically savvy Branch/Unit Manager to fill the vacant position. If you are

The Job
Reporting: The Branch /Unit Managers will be reporting to Senior Manager, Operations & Service
Delivery and working closely with other Heads of Functions at Head Office namely; Finance &
Strategy, Credit, Business Development, Risk & Compliance and ICT.
Responsibilities
The role-holder will be responsible for the overall oversight and management of the branch including;
1. Finance & Strategy
• Participating in drawing and implementing the Strategic and Annual Business Plans
for the Branch/Business Unit
• Budget Control
2. Branch Operations
Day to Day Operations and branch management including but not limited to;
• Internal controls,
• Branch staff and branch business performance
• Cash management, fixed assets, business continuity, customer service, fixed assets
management among others.
• Training and Leave Management
3. Business Development Function
The Role-holder will be responsible for driving the branch business development branch
targets including;
• Business acquisition for both accounts and loans for individuals, companies,
institutions.
• Relationship management for customer satisfaction and retention

4. Credit Administration Function
The Role-holder will ensure the branch loan book is healthy through
• Credible loan appraisals
• Documentation and securities and
• Portfolio management
5. Risk & Compliance
The Role-holder is expected to ensure the Branch complies with the regulatory, land laws and
Bank Policies.

Skills and Qualifications Desired:
• Bachelor’s degree in business related field
• CPA – Intermediate Stage is an added advantage
• Thorough Knowledge of the Financial Sector – Microfinance and Banking Act the related
Regulations/guidelines and Industry policies
• At least four years’ relevant work experience in a Microfinance Institution or Commercial Bank
at supervisory level and above.
• Must have experience in using microfinance related management information system and
fully understanding its functions, related risks, and mitigation.
• Good people management skills and evidence of managing high performing teams.
Terms of Service
The Branch/Unit Manager will serve on three year renewable contract subject to satisfactory
performance. The salary and other benefits attached to this position are industry competitive and will
be communicated during the engagement process.
